What we collect

We keep data collection minimal. If you fill out a contact or listing-update form, we collect what you type into it, which is usually your name, your email, an optional phone number, the spa or listing you're writing about, and your message. That's the extent of the information you actively give us. Form submissions are stored in our own database, hosted on Cloudflare's infrastructure, and kept only as long as we need them to respond and maintain the register; you can ask us to delete yours at any time (see “Requesting your data” below).

We also use a small set of measurement tools to understand how the site is used, described in “Cookies and analytics” below. Separately, our hosting provider automatically logs standard technical request data, such as IP address and browser type, to keep the site running and secure, as is normal for any website.

How we use it

We use the information from forms to respond to you, whether that's answering a question, fixing a listing, or processing a removal or claim request. We use it for that purpose and to maintain the accuracy of the register, nothing else.

We don't use your information to build advertising profiles, and we don't add people to a marketing list because they wrote in with a correction or a question.

We don't sell your data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We're an independent publisher, not a lead broker, so the details you send us stay with us and are used only to help you or to maintain the register.

We may share limited data with the service providers that keep our site running, such as our hosting and infrastructure provider, strictly so the site can function and only to the extent they need it.

Cookies and analytics

We load our measurement tools through Google Tag Manager, which is a container that decides which of the tools below run on a page. Google Tag Manager does not itself collect analytics data about you; it loads the two tools we do use.

Google Analytics 4 measures aggregate traffic, such as which pages are viewed, how far people scroll, and which outbound links are clicked. It sets cookies to tell repeat visits apart. Google describes how it handles this data at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can opt out across all sites with Google's official opt-out browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Microsoft Clarity records session replays and heatmaps, meaning a playback of how a visitor moved, scrolled, and clicked through a page, so we can find layout and usability problems. We run Clarity with strict text masking enabled, so the text you type into a form is masked and not captured in the recording. Microsoft's privacy statement is at https://privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement.

None of this is used for advertising or to build a profile of you, and we don't run ad-targeting or retargeting tags. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site works fine without them.

Requesting your data

You can ask what personal information we hold about you, request a copy, or ask us to delete it. Because we collect so little, mainly what you send through a form, these requests are usually quick to honor.

Email hello@medicalspaproviders.com from the address you used to contact us, and we'll take care of it.

Children

This site is intended for adults and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site grows or as our practices change. When we do, we'll revise the date at the top. Meaningful changes will be reflected here rather than emailed to you individually, so it's worth checking back if you're curious.
