The short answer

Start with the procedure and exact office you need, then compare the practitioner and written treatment plan. These 5 practices have medical aesthetic services named on their own websites. Google figures are historical July 20, 2026 snapshots; websites were checked October 13, 2026. Inclusion does not mean clinical vetting.

Comparing med spas in Chicago

The Chicago med spa register lets you browse beyond this editorial sample. This guide compares 5 practices whose own websites name medical aesthetic services, with each Google rating and count checked against the original collection record. It is a starting point for consultations, not a list of the best clinicians.

For a reader choosing between Lincoln Park and River North, compare the exact street address and the number of return visits before comparing stars. Natural Beauty also advertises a Hinsdale office and Innovative lists two Chicago branches. Neither a brand name nor a shared menu means that the reviewed address is the office you will attend.

City boundaries, address labels and metro grouping

Five Chicago-address practices, with branch-specific comparisons for River North and Lincoln Park. Hinsdale and other suburban offices are not folded into the Chicago sample. Neighborhood names describe areas within Chicago; they are not separate municipalities.

The location column reflects the office identified on the practice website, with a separate-city label where relevant. Directory routes use the metro grouping for navigation; that route does not establish municipal boundaries. Confirm the street, suite and appointment location directly before traveling.

How we selected these 5 practices

We reviewed an editorial sample of register entries with at least 100 stored Google reviews, then required a primary practice website naming medical aesthetic services and an identifiable office. The final count reflects the evidence we could verify, rather than a fixed city quota. This is not every qualifying practice, a city census or a claim about market coverage.

Every star rating and review count in the table matches an original Google collection record from July 20, 2026 (UTC). These are historical snapshots, not current ratings. We checked service websites on October 13, 2026. Checking a menu does not refresh a review count; newer numbers displayed on a clinic website or review widget are not substituted for a direct Google collection. Follow the Google source links below for current reviews.

Within this sample, order uses the register's weighted review score: (rating multiplied by review count, plus 25 multiplied by the register's 4.9 average) divided by (review count plus 25). Scores are rounded to nine decimal places, with ties ordered by review count and name. This organizes review evidence and does not measure clinical skill, treatment safety or suitability. Displayed stars are the original Google average.

We did not visit these practices, verify individual licenses or audit outcomes. A facial-only or massage menu is not enough evidence for inclusion in this medical aesthetic comparison. Brand-wide menus require branch confirmation. The illustrative photograph is not from a compared practice.

Chicago comparison at a glance

The 5 entries account for 1,526 Google reviews in the historical snapshot. This is a sum of review counts, not unique patients or procedure-specific outcomes. Reviews may describe customer service, facials or treatments different from the one you want.

Services below are names on practice websites, not independently verified treatment claims. The linked profiles after each description provide contact information. Their stars use the stored register data; the July snapshot date applies to the practices in this guide.

Shot Bar MedSpa

Shot Bar names Sofwave skin tightening and Tixel skin resurfacing on its Lincoln Park website. Its parking information points to 2444 N Clark Street. This is a useful candidate for a device-based consultation; do not assume a spa offering skin tightening has the injectable menu you want. Ask which device is proposed, who operates it and how many visits the written plan includes.

Dvida Spa | Med Spa Services 60654

Dvida separates Chicago and Cary service menus. Its Chicago location page gives 677 N Clark Street, and the website names RF microneedling, Moxi, BBL and CoolSculpting Elite. Confirm the Chicago menu when requesting a quote. A website total for reviews across a brand is different from the dated Google record for this one address.

Natural Beauty Med Spa- Chicago

Natural Beauty lists Botox, Morpheus8, microneedling and laser hair removal, with separate Dearborn and Hinsdale offices. This comparison uses its Chicago listing at 712 N Dearborn Street, fourth floor. The site also carries a move announcement, so confirm the entrance and suite when booking. Ask whether your consultation and follow-up will occur at the same office.

Innovative MedSpa

Innovative MedSpa names Botox, Dysport, dermal fillers and laser hair removal, and lists both Lincoln Park and River North addresses. The record compared here is River North, 511 N Orleans Street. Confirm the branch and assigned practitioner before comparing a brand-wide menu or membership. Ask which services the membership covers and what remains an additional charge.

Better Med Spa & Wellness

Better Med Spa identifies its Lincoln Park address as 2117 N Halsted Street. Its menu names Botox, Dysport, dermal fillers, SkinPen and BBL with Moxi, alongside facials and wellness services. For a combined plan, ask for each proposed service and its cost separately. A broad menu helps you form questions; it does not establish that every service is suitable for you.

Questions that make consultations comparable

Ask: Who will evaluate me, prescribe if needed and perform the procedure? What are their full names and license types? How can I verify their current licenses? Which product or device is proposed for my concern, and what alternatives should I discuss? How will you decide whether to proceed after reviewing my history?

Ask for a written quote naming the product or device, proposed quantity, number of visits, consultation charge and follow-up terms. Ask whether a deposit, membership or package is required, which costs are extra and how cancellations work. This guide publishes no price estimate; an expired offer or a national menu is not a current quote for your appointment.

Ask what preparation and recovery instructions apply to the proposed plan, who answers questions after hours and what to do if a concern arises. A consultation may lead to a different plan or to no treatment. Compare that individualized recommendation, not a package selected before you are assessed.

Use the consultation question checklist and license verification guide to organize your research. The state injector scope guide helps frame questions about the injector and prescribing arrangements. These links support preparation; they do not clinically vet the practices listed here.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best med spa in Chicago?

There is no single best practice for every procedure or person. This comparison covers 5 editorially selected practices with a dated Google snapshot and services named on their websites. Compare the actual office, practitioner, proposed treatment and follow-up plan, then confirm current details during a consultation.

Are the Google ratings and review counts current?

No. These figures were collected on July 20, 2026 (UTC) and matched to the original Google records. Practice menus were checked separately on October 13, 2026. A website check does not update the Google data. Follow the linked Google Business Profiles for current ratings and recent review details.

Does this guide cover every med spa inside Chicago city limits?

Five Chicago-address practices, with branch-specific comparisons for River North and Lincoln Park. Hinsdale and other suburban offices are not folded into the Chicago sample. Neighborhood names describe areas within Chicago; they are not separate municipalities. It is a selected sample, not an exhaustive city list.

How should I compare treatment prices?

Request the product or device, proposed quantity, total cost, number of visits, consultation fee and follow-up terms in writing. Compare the same appointment scope. Ask whether a price requires membership or has expired. This guide does not quote prices because menus and promotions do not establish your individualized cost.

Have these practices been clinically vetted?

No. Inclusion means we found medical aesthetic services on a primary practice website and connected the corresponding Google record and directory profile. We have not verified individual licenses, visited the offices or audited outcomes. Verify the actual practitioner and discuss suitability, alternatives and follow-up with a licensed healthcare professional.
