The Boston section lists 24 med spas. The first 15 came from Google Maps searches for "med spa", "medical spa" and "aesthetics botox filler" run in Boston on September 24, 2026. Only businesses inside Boston city limits were kept, checked against the U.S. Census geocoder, and closed listings, surgical practices, day spas and facial-only studios were dropped. Working down from the most Google reviews, each business's own website was checked for medical services until 15 qualified. The other nine were added in October 2026 after further Google Maps searches, each checked against the practice's own website. All 24 average a 4.9 Google rating, nine hold a 5.0, and they are ordered by rating adjusted for review volume. Nobody paid to be listed. Bella Santé Day Spa & Med Spa stayed in because its med spa menu lists laser and light treatments.

Google's labels put the largest group in Back Bay, with nine: Shah Wellness and Medspa, Icon MD Medical Spa + Laser Center Boston, Skin Spa New York - Back Bay, Bella Santé Day Spa & Med Spa - Boston, Skin Laundry - Newbury Street, MD Esthetics Boston, NakedMD Med Spa Boston, SkinHealth Centers Med Spa Boston and The Laser Skin. South Boston has three (SEAPORT MEDSPA, Spruce Skin and Boston Beautox), and South End (Medical Aesthetics on Tremont and VIO Med Spa) and Columbus (DeluxeBar Medical Aesthetics and Recharge on Clarendon Medspa) have two each. Dorchester (Dam Medspa), Downtown (KDR Aesthetics + Wellness), Government Center (Boston Medical Aesthetics), Hyde Park (Skinluxe Spa), Fenway-Kenmore (Lounge Aesthetics), Leather District (AeLeeMD Laser and Aesthetic Center), North End (New England Aesthetics) and South Boston Waterfront (Vega Vitality MedSpa & Wellness) have one each. Dorchester and Hyde Park are Boston neighborhoods, so those two spas are inside the city.

The Board of Registration in Nursing lets registered and licensed practical nurses inject them on a prescriber's order, in a practice that requires a documented evaluation by a prescriber, but not choose the drug or the dose. Nurse practitioners prescribe under guidelines with a supervisor until they qualify for independent practice, and physician assistants work under a physician's continuous supervision, which the statute says does not require the physician's presence; the rules we read do not say whether a cosmetic injection needs a stricter written protocol. Physicians (MD and DO) are licensed by the Board of Registration in Medicine, and its FindMyDoctor profile search can show board discipline, criminal convictions, hospital discipline and malpractice payments. Nurses, nurse practitioners and physician assistants are checked on the Massachusetts Health Professions License Verification site, run by the Bureau of Health Professions Licensure; nurses answer to the Board of Registration in Nursing.
