Med spa questions in Fargo

How many medical spas does Fargo have on this register, and how were they selected?

The Fargo section includes 4 medical spas. They were found through Google Maps searches for medical spa, med spa, Botox and aesthetics practices in Fargo, North Dakota (November 2026), and each address was checked against the Census city limits. Each practice's own website was checked for medical aesthetic services and a named clinician or medical oversight, and a reviewed photo of the current location was required. Surgical-only practices, IV-only lounges, day spas, salons and esthetician-only studios were excluded. The cohort averages a 4.9 Google rating, with 2 practices holding a 5.0 rating. Listings are ordered using confidence-weighted ratings that balance star rating against review volume. No practice paid for placement on this register.

According to Google neighborhood designations, each of the 4 practices sits in a different neighborhood: Urban Plains (Center for Plastic Surgery & Medspa), Woodhaven (Fargo Laser & Aesthetics), Anderson Park (Fargo Center For Dermatology) and Brunsdale (Catalyst Medical Center + Clinical Spa).

Which Fargo med spas offer evening or weekend appointments?

One of the 4 practices publishes Saturday hours: Catalyst Medical Center + Clinical Spa. None lists Sunday hours. For evening treatments, two clinics operate until 7 PM or later on select days: Fargo Center For Dermatology and Catalyst Medical Center + Clinical Spa. Confirm current operating hours directly with each clinic prior to visiting.

Who is legally authorized to inject Botox and dermal fillers in North Dakota?

None of the North Dakota board pages or Century Code chapters reviewed here names Botox or dermal fillers. The Board of Nursing's Nursing Practice FAQ says an RN with comprehensive, specialized and accredited training, certification and competencies may inject FDA approved medical aesthetic or cosmetic agents as part of a medically prescribed treatment plan. Its practice guidance says it does not carry the force and effect of law or rules, requires an order from a prescriber, and defines a prescriber as a physician, physician assistant or APRN with prescriptive authority. The guidance adds that selecting a medication or determining a dosage is outside RN scope, and that the Board of Nursing has no oversight of independent clinics or retail settings. In statute, NDCC 43-11-01 says esthetics does not include any procedure invading living tissue below the stratum corneum layer of the epidermis.

How can I verify a Fargo injector's professional license?

Search the board that licenses the person. The Board of Medicine's Verify License Status page covers physicians and physician assistants and says it is a primary source for Board data, updated in real time with the Board's licensure database. A name search needs the correct spelling, though a partial last name can start a search, and results link to disciplinary history. The Board of Nursing's license verification portal searches RNs, LPNs and APRNs by name, license number or NCSBN ID and links to the Nursys national licensure and disciplinary database. For an esthetician, the State Board of Cosmetology says its public license lookup is not yet available and is expected to launch in January 2027, and asks you to contact the Board office until then. Ask your provider for their full name and license type before treatment.
